It sure is fun to go through and share all these new mom experiences with my sister in law Karly. Wynter loves her older cousin Ben. I really do think they still remember each other from the other side. Wynter smiles when ever we talk a bout Ben to her.

I can't believe it's already been 3 weeks!
She sure is a lot of fun though and sooo cute! She changes everyday to me and gets more and more alert. I love how she just gazes up at the ceiling or straight into my eyes. She's pretty aware of my voice too. I love watching her turn her head side to side to find what direction I'm in.
Here is a picture of the nursery. It's so pretty and peaceful. Jason painted the stripes on the wall and I painted her crib a warm silver color. I had a lot of help from friends and family with the nursery too. Thank you Karly for the bumper pad and thank you Danya for the curtains. I love having crafty domestic women in my life.
So cute, she found her thumb. I don't know if that's a good thing, but its cute and keeps her quiet until I'm ready to feed her.
So I needed to make sure that my little dancer was comfy in a tutu. We did a little photo shoot, she wasn't too thrilled about it.
I love blue so I couldn't wait to put this little outfit on her. LOL! She looked like a little boy so I threw on some pink socks.
Karly is so nifty. She made Christmas PJs for all the kids. We took them over to Nana's house to get a picture in front of her beautiful tree. LOL! Yeah right, that went well.

Finally...something to blog about!
November 27th, 2009 at 1:32 am I was able to hold my little girl in my arms. I had spent most of Thanksgiving day in pain with back labor up at Jason's parents house. By the time we returned home, I couldn't take too much more and was crying through nearly every contraction. I told Jason I have to go to the hospital even if its just to get some morphine. Luckily I was dilated to a 3 and they didn't make me leave. I had an epidural about an hour later and started feeling great! Jason called Grandma Eubanks and Nana to come to the hospital. About 3 hours and 3 pushes later Wynter was here. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't have a horror story about the labor and delivery. I can't imagine ever forgetting the pain of the back labor though;-) Enjoy some pics, I will be posting more!
Jason found the whole delivery thing very interesting actually. He watched the whole thing and nervously cut the umbilical cord.
First family photo. Wow...that's an attractive picture;-)
We took Wynter home Saturday evening. So sad, she was jaundice and had to be on the lights for 3 days. She actually really didn't mind her little tanning bed. I think it was harder on mommy than her. She is doing much better now and slowly losing her tan (yellowness).
I'm wondering if Wynter is going to a mommies girl or a daddy's girl;-) Jason is in love with her. He is already so amazing with her and LOVES holding her.
I love how eager Jason is to dive into daddy duties! He gave Wynter her first bath, but we didn't capture it:-( However, I did get some shots of the first changings. Jason's first diaper was massive. LOL! I still laugh when I think of that thing and how perfect it was that it was his first one. She didn't take it easy on her daddy at all. But he was a total trooper!
She's not too sure about the bows either:-) Thank goodness she has hair!
She for sure looks like me. I saw my nose in the ultrasound pic and the minute I held her I saw me. Not too sure what the hair is going to do yet though.
